Sudini Jaipal Reddy is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha. He is a member of the Indian National Congress. He is currently the Cabinet Minister of Urban Development.

He was an active student leader and was elected twice as President, Osmania Students Union, Osmania Univeristy. He was General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee during 1965-71. Between 1969 and 1984, he was a Member of Legislative Assembly, representing Kalwakurthy Constituency from Andhra Pradesh for four terms till he was elected as Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha.
